Using Fiverr to Grow Your Business
With the wealth of resources that the internet provides nowadays, anyone can start an online business and be profitable. The key is to find resources that are cost efficient and reliable.
Many articles will tell you that a great way to start an online business is by outsourcing different tasks. This is a great way to account for your weaknesses and grow your business, especially in the early styages. For example, if you are an excellent engineer, but a terrible editor, you can hire someone to edit your website content for you. Similarly, if you have a great idea, but have no idea how to code or create a website, you can outsource this task to a professional. Sometimes this can get very expensive, but it does not have to be if you have the right resources. I’m going to discuss a great online resource called Fiverr.
Fiverr is a one-stop shop for all your online business needs. It is a community of people who are willing to do tasks starting at only $5. Fiverr can help you with all those tricky tasks that you might not have even thought about when starting your online business.
Who are the people on Fiverr doing all these awesome tasks for only $5? Some of them are people trying to build their portfolios in order to become established in their industry, others are professionals from different countries where five dollars goes a lot further than it does here. You can experiment with different people on Fiverr without having to spend hundreds of dollars.
Some of the popular services you can utilize on Fiverr are: logo design, website design, editing, online marketing services, copy-writing, slogan creation, and much more. There are also other lesser known services that can also help elevate your business. For example, you can hire someone to do a video testimonial to put on your website, label design on 3D products such as water bottles, and even create a custom iPhone app for your business. These are just some of the endless possibilities you can take advantage of on Fiverr.
A note: be careful who you hire! Make sure to do your research in advance. You can message the person and ask for more samples, or ask for a portfolio so you can further evaluate the person’s work. Make sure you read the description so that you know what you are signing up to purchase. You don’t want to accidentally buy a healing spell or an accordion telegram—both of which are possible to buy for $5 on the site in the “fun and bizarre” section. Stick to a list of the services your business will truly need to not get distracted and stay on course to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
