There's a new feature in RingCentral's app for iOS devices: inbound voice-over-internet-protocol (VoIP) support.
In addition to offering inbound VoIP, the latest version of the RingCentral iOS app - available for download now in the App Store - addresses a number of bugs.
What does inbound VoIP support mean for you? If you're a RingCentral Professional or Office customer and you use an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you can now take RingCentral calls using your device's data or Wi-Fi connection. For iPhones, that means you won't have to use your cell phone plan minutes to accept calls to your RingCentral number. Exciting news: For the second year in a row, RingCentral has been named one of AlwaysOn's 100 companies to watch.
AlwaysOn, a media company serving private-company entrepreneurs and executives, conducted a rigorous three-month search for the companies that are disrupting computing the most.
